Human Rights Law

The purpose of human rights law is to ensure that individuals are able to live with dignity and enjoy their basic human rights, and that governments and other actors are held accountable for upholding these rights. Human rights law is enforced through national and international legal mechanisms, such as courts, tribunals, and human rights bodies.
